My 3rd three dimensional image. I wanted to put Kailis into an image that showed what and who he is and what he does. Im starting to sculpt a few more things now like armor and accessories, weapons.
Kailis is a Shadow Elf, that belongs to a race I created called the Tula' Ev. Like all Tula'Ev, Kailis has no pigment in his hair or skin. The Tula'Ev have lived away from the light of day within the deepest darkest parts of the underground for generations. This has caused their hair and skin to lose all colour, making them extremely pale. They activley hunt and kill other species for sport.
Kailis relishes hunting other species, favouring anything with notoriety or skill. Drow excite him, for their subrace are well renowned for being highly intelligent, evil and are said to be very good fighters. Therefore he veiws them as more prestegious trophies compared to most other creatures. Eventually he becomes known among most as "Great White". In my roleplays Kailis eventually breaches the surface of the Underdark, and finds that he is impervious to cold temperatures.
When designing the character I thought it would be a nice detail to add that his blood was not red like other creatures but black, therefore the parts of his body where the skin is thinner, like the lips, nailes, nipples...basically anywhere on a human that is more of a pink colour for him is dark and black.
The left side of his weapon is inscribed in elven lettering, Translated as "The warrior with the greatest of trophies, commands the greatest respect.". On the right side another inscription reads. "Those who sweat with practice, bleed less in battle."
I do not use pre-made content in any of my three dimensional artwork. All of my three dimesional artwork is my own, original and sculpted from scratch in Zbrush. I start with a Sphere, like a ball of clay, and my models are developed from there.
I do not use anyones stock images. Backgrounds and surrounds are my own, handpainted.
An absolutely amazing piece....love the small details, the darkness caused by his blood....really brings him to life and adds some serious depth...the story you have generated around this character and his race is equally amazing...and I am going to have to throw my hat in the ring on saying that the world needs stats for this race of yours.
The Tula Ev are my own creation, so no stats for them as of yet im afraid. But there is a class in DnD known as the Shadow Elves, they are a lot different from my designs though. I am thinking of making up stats for them now as I have been getting a few questions about playing a Tula Ev. ^^
To me, this is what may happen if the albino goes rogue. XD
